Experience the rich birdlife of Thattekad and the beautiful mountain landscapes of Munnar on this 3 Nights / 4 Days birding and nature tour.

Day 1 – Arrival at Thattekad & Evening Birding

Pick-up from Kochi Airport or Railway Station and drive to Thattekad. After checking in and relaxing, begin your first birdwatching session in the afternoon.

Explore the riverside and nearby forest habitats in search of a variety of birds. Evening birding can be followed by an optional night birding session.

Overnight stay: Thattekad

Day 2 – Full Day Birdwatching in Thattekad

Start early for a full day of birdwatching in and around Thattekad. Explore different habitats, including forest trails, bamboo areas and riverside locations.

Look for hornbills, woodpeckers, kingfishers, flycatchers, frogmouths and other Western Ghats bird species. The afternoon and evening can be used for further birdwatching or bird photography.

Optional night birding can also be arranged.

Day 3 – Munnar Day Trip & Hill Birding

After an early breakfast, drive through the Western Ghats towards Munnar. Enjoy the scenic journey through forests, spice plantations and tea-growing areas.

Spend the day exploring selected birding locations and scenic areas around Munnar. Depending on time and conditions, visit tea plantations, viewpoints and other natural attractions.

In the evening, drive back to Thattekad.

Day 4 – Morning Birding & Departure

Enjoy a final morning birdwatching session around Thattekad. After breakfast, check out from the accommodation.

Transfer to Kochi Airport or Railway Station according to your departure schedule.
